I’m passionate when I tell people, I’m living my dream; experiencing a “third career” following motherhood and teaching. My focus with The Country Life Shop is simple:

To be able to create a charming atmosphere in a century old building with quality furniture that reflects our Early American heritage.

To establish relationships with people who share the same passion for quality.

To be proud to support the American artists and craftspeople…

These truly reflect my mission and who I am as a person. My husband Dean, a retired educator, provides support whenever needed. Mary, another retired educator, shares my passion for the shop and our customers, and finally Miss Ruby, our rescued Basset Hound who provides us with comic relief. We sincerely want people to join us for The Country Life experience…remember, we are that “little shop around the corner.”
